The syllabuses presented by CICN for the award of Associate Diploma in various areas to the Federal Ministry of Education from foundation to final are “considered rich and compared favorably with the polytechnics standard for the award of Higher National Diploma and standards slightly above Higher National Diploma”. The courses and topics covered are wide enough to provide enough background in preparing the candidates as middle level manpower in Commercial and General Administration in Nigeria.
